Sessions

Sessions is a reflection of the past legends who have shaped it and the young athletes who make Sessions what it is today. In 1983 the Sessions retail shop was born in San Jose, the epicenter from which a skateboarding revolution was going to shake the world. Skateboarding was just being introduced to plywood ramps and street-style skating. Sessions was there then, providing snowboarding gear for the masses. Joel Gomez, a young skater/snowboarder/surfer and Sessions founder and CEO, has lived the culture of action sports and punk rock for his entire adult life. His commitment and the company s commitment to the true roots of the action sports lifestyle are reflected in the history of how Sessions has evolved into what it is today. Sessions originally opened as the first dedicated snowboard-only retail outlet in the United States. They were also able to build a loyal following through mail order retail, whose catalogs were inserted in Alternative Press and Spin magazine. Today, Sessions offers a full line of snowboarding apparel, street wear and accessories, incorporating innovative design with high quality fabrics and materials.
